Home, Sweet, Home

So, we are settled in our new home in GA. We live in Reidsville, which is actually 40 miles from post, but we have mad acres and a great country farm house to call our own. For the time being, anyhow. The rooms are huge, the ceilings are low, the floors are hardwood. Life is good. We bought a weimaraner, named Ranger, and he's a very active puppy. He's driving me nuts with his antics, but they are so cute, I almost forget to reprimand him when he does something wrong. He doens't have the light brown eyes like he should, he actually has gray eyes.

In other news, I finally heard back on The Distance. The editor at TWRP did not think the current version was for the WRP, but if I reworked the chapters, she would be happy to take another look at it. In a nutshell, that's good news! It means the story has potential. Anyhow, I said I would be willing to do so, which, I am doing.

Ivory's Addiction has been sent in for query, and I received the receipt email two days ago, and the SE emailed me today to say it has been logged into the Scarlet Line for review. This is good news. Hopefully we will hear back soon! :)

All in all, life is good, writing is good. I'm glad to call this beautiful country home, sweet, home.
